Xiaomi 12T Pro will be Xiaomi’s First 200MP Camera, Reveals Leaked Image

Xiaomi is reportedly working on the Xiaomi 12T series of smartphones for the global market. The Xiaomi 12S, 12S Pro, and 12S Ultra are the first Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 phones from the brand. However, the company has no plans to release these on the global market. Instead, the global market will get the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1-powered Xiaomi 12T Pro. A few reports that surfaced in the recent past claimed that the 12T Pro would be Xiaomi’s first phone with a 200-megapixel camera. A leaked image that has surfaced today has revealed that the 12T Pro will indeed feature a 200-megapixel camera.

The below image shared by Phonandroid gives a good look at the camera setup of the Xiaomi 12T Pro. As can be seen, it has a triple camera unit led by a 200-megapixel snapper. Xiaomi will be the world’s second brand to launch a 200-megapixel camera. Last week, Motorola unveiled the Moto X30 Pro in China as the first-ever phone with a 200-megapixel camera.

Speculations are rife that the Xiaomi 12T Pro’s model number is 22081212UG, which means it’s a tweaked version of the Redmi K50 Ultra (model number 22081212C), which debuted in China last week.

The device is likely to feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz display. It will feature a 20-megapixel front camera. Its 200-megapixel triple camera setup on the back may include an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel macro camera.

The Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chip will be present under the hood of the device. It will ship with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. It will pack a 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. It will be priced at 849 euros and come in black, silver, and blue colors.
